That celebration is past, and you wonder what else is there to do in HB?  Well, on any particular weekend there is sure to be plenty of stuff going on.  A couple quick updates on a few of the upcoming events:

Parents:  are you familiar with the Adventure Playground at Central Park?  10am - 4pm daily (except Sundays) you will finds a plethora of fun for kids.  They can raft on a small pond, navigate a rope bridge, use a cable slide, go down a mudslide, build forts and more.  Not quite "clean" fun.  :-)  but fun non the less.

On this Sat there is a classic car show downtown hosted by Coldwell Banker.  It is a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project.  Show up any time between 10am & 3pm.

If you like inline hockey, you can catch the World Inline Championships at The Rinks, 5555 McFadden Ave.  Learn more about the event:  www.2013FIRSworldinline.com

Peter's Landing has their on going farmers market from 9am - 2pm.  Every Saturday!!

From 2pm - 6pm this Sunday is the German Heritage Day at Old World. Free food and admission to the 1st 500 guests! Live music from the German American Brass Band, Folk Dancers, Dachshund Races and loads of family fun.  There will be daschund races as well (3pm).

As always, much more stuff can be found on the online HB calendar:  www.thelocalhb.com/calendar.html

And for a little networking business.  Tomorrow is the once a month HB Chamber of Commerce AM Connect networking breakfast.  If you are a chamber member and not taking advantage of this breakfast meeting, you are missing out!  If you are not a member, you are welcome to come check it out and see how much business is being done amongst Chamber members.  We meet at SeaCliff Country Club (6501 Palm Ave) the second Friday of each month.  7:15am.  Tell them you are a guest of mine and you'll be the member's price.  Info about the chamber:  www.hbchamber.com.

Can't get enough of SeaCliff or networking?  Don't forget Tuesday coming up, the 16th at 11am, is the once a month RBN networking lunch.  80+ people to network with.  As I've mentioned before, the Orange County networking group has made SeaCliff their HB home.  Come out and show them some support while doing some business!  info and rsvp at www.rbninfo.com.  Non-members can save $5 by registering in advance online.

Have a great rest of the week. and see you around HB!
