Have you seen the first two surfboards that are part of the Surfboards on Parade? As a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Huntington Beach, a surfboard art exhibit is popping up all over town. Huntington Beach Rotary is raising money to eradicate skin cancer and so far the two surfboards that have been unveiled are pretty cool. The first was at Dukes, so pop in and take a peek. This past Tuesday, we were at the Waterfront Hilton for the unveiling of the board by shaper Robert August & artist John Van Hamersveld. Mark your calendar for next Tuesday the 18th, 10:30am at the Hyatt for next board by shaper Tim Bessell & artist Andy Warhol. Do rsvp if you want to attend: firstname.lastname@example.org.
